Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive inorganic growth across nutrition, MedTech and biopharma. You will partner with management, lead due diligence, and develop compelling business cases for board approvals.

The role allows remote work with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; local candidates are preferred. A base salary is complemented by a target annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years in business development, M&A, strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a complex, matrix organization; adaptable to change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, entities and startups for inorganic growth, with focus on nutrition, MedTech and biopharma.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams through due diligence, business case, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch materials for management alignment and prioritization of targets.
• Manage portfolio analysis and evaluation of new business opportunities and scenarios.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedents; guide execution of opportunities.
• Collaborate with global teams and external interfaces to position Fresenius Kabi as a partner.
• Support strategy discussions with market insights and forward-looking direction.
