Job summary

IELFreight is seeking a Strategic Services Operations Specialist to oversee LTL operations, including quoting, routing, tracking, and customer service. The role supports the sales team and reports to the Strategic Sales Manager - LTL.

You will collaborate with internal departments, respond to inquiries promptly, and build carrier partnerships while negotiating WI's and claims to support service excellence and sales growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of transportation operations experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated customer service experience.
• Excellent communication, both written and oral.
• Ability to facilitate training and speak to peers and groups.
• Excellent customer service.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and pivot plans as needed.
• Willingness to collaborate as a team and share ideas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of LTL operations within the territory.
• Assist day-to-day quoting and routing of LTL freight services.
• Provide customer service including tracking and tracing shipments.
• Support the sales team to close new business.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal departments to service customers and grow sales.
• Build partnerships with LTL carriers, including negotiations of WI's and claims.
