ARS Logistics is seeking a remote LTL Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day execution of LTL shipments, acting as the vital link between carriers, internal teams, and customers. Start date ASAP, with a focus on accuracy, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication.

You will track shipments, review invoices, and guide teams on proper LTL order construction while supporting rate analysis and data integrity in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on LTL experience in a 3PL, freight brokerage, or LTL carrier environment.
• Solid knowledge of NMFC classifications, density pricing, and accessorials.
• Experience with a brokerage TMS and LTL carrier portals for booking, tracking and disputes.
• Excellent written and spoken English for daily US carrier/customer communication.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable remote setup: backup power, internet, computer, and multiple monitors.
• Availability during core U.S. Eastern business hours.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace LTL shipments from booking through delivery, flagging exceptions early.
• Review invoices and freight bills for discrepancies and advise teams on resolution.
• Guide order construction: freight class, packaging, dimensions, weight, carrier selection.
• Coordinate with carriers on OS&D and manage freight claims to resolution.
• Monitor carrier performance and report trends to management.
• Maintain accurate data in the TMS and implement efficiency improvements.
• Support additional LTL operations tasks: reporting, documentation, and rate analysis.
