Job summary

CDN Logistics, Inc. seeks a Senior Operations Representative to oversee daily LTL shipments from pickup to delivery. You will coordinate with carriers, agents, terminals, drivers and customers to confirm pickups, monitor movement, and ensure service commitments are met.

The role requires 3–5 years in LTL transportation or freight brokerage, a preferred BS/BA, and proficiency with a Transportation Management System and MS Office. This is an on-site position based in Northlake, IL.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant experience in LTL transportation or freight brokerage.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience coordinating high-volume shipments or managing complex transportation accounts.
• Strong knowledge of LTL processes, carrier networks, and shipment lifecycle management.
• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) and carrier portals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily LTL shipments from pickup through final delivery with clear instructions.
• Work with carriers, agents, terminals, drivers, and customers to confirm pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments, identify disruptions, and take timely action to protect service commitments.
• Review bills of lading, PRO numbers, and shipment details for accuracy.
• Escalate issues with facts and recommended next steps; support teammates as needed.
