Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC seeks a Solutions Engineer to evaluate, design, and support implementing logistics solutions that improve clients’ business models. You will analyze current state, craft an ideal future state, and lead a hands-on implementation alongside cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes strategic thinking, pricing input, and collaboration with sales to demonstrate platforms and secure new business. Travel may be required as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not in business.
• 5+ years in supply chain management or related fields.
• 4+ years of complex, consultative solutions experience.
• Direct consulting experience in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at the C-Suite level.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Transportation Insight's value across all modes and our core competencies.
• Gather client requirements and identify drivers for value-based improvements.
• Assess a validated prospects' current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Coordinate the assessment process and hold internal teams to timelines.
• Understand client's systems and requirements to propose the best solution for their needs.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to develop a solutions strategy.
• Participate in solution design meetings and coordinate internal resources.
• Document the future solution for presentations and documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for service offerings that are competitive.
• Assist sales with demonstrations to close new business.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients via phone, web, and on-site.
