Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead the assessment, design and implementation of logistics solutions for prospects and clients. The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on project leadership to translate requirements into profitable, operable solutions across supply chain processes.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, price complex multi‑mode services, and support the deal cycle from strategy through delivery.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field.
• MBA preferred; if bachelor’s not in business, MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• 4+ years of complex, consultative solutions experience.
• Direct consulting experience in transportation/logistics/TMS at C-suite level.

Responsibilities

• Communicate value and differentiators of Transportation Insight.
• Gather client requirements and drivers for value-based improvements.
• Assess current state and document current supply chain state.
• Coordinate assessment process and timelines.
• Propose best solutions based on client systems and objectives.
• Develop solution strategy with cross-functional team.
• Facilitate strategy meetings and coordinate resources.
• Document future solution for presentations and docs.
• Contribute to pricing strategies for services.
• Assist sales in demonstrations of technology platforms.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients via multiple channels.
• Report client needs and potential improvements to leadership.
• Support transition from sales to implementation/account management.
