Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to aggressively market the J.B.

Hunt brand and develop new accounts while expanding an established customer base. You will solicit business from new customers to grow overall volumes and align opportunities with company objectives. The role requires the ability to travel to customer sites as needed, conduct lead generation, and coordinate with internal teams to implement solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of transportation or supply chain sales experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and prospect new business opportunities.
• Visit prospective and existing customers at their headquarters or sites and travel as needed.
• Monitor account health including KPI reviews and contract terms to ensure adherence.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to implement solutions and kickoff projects.
• Meet with customers to discuss opportunities, submit proposals, finalize contracts and win business.
