Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse and distribution tasks. You will coordinate shipments, prepare paperwork, and dispatch drivers while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and strong customer service.

The role requires experience in transportation/logistics, strong leadership, and the ability to analyze processes for continuous improvement. Occasional remote work is possible as part of a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business preferred; high school diploma required.
• 5 years' experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in transportation and logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station manager with general tasks.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
• Review operational KPIs and benchmarking data for improvements.
• Oversee warehouse operations and supervise staff.
• Communicate freight status to customers, vendors and Maersk stations.
• Support load/off-load and routing to optimize efficiency.
• Manage domestic KPI performance and related duties.
