Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Global Operations Supervisor to lead cross-border processes and projects across multiple countries. The role directs a portfolio of shipments, coordinating air and ocean movements while aligning with corporate strategies.

Strong emphasis on compliance, risk management, and customer communication is essential. The position requires 3+ years in dispatching and import/export, leadership experience, and DG certification.

Qualifications

• Understanding TSA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
• Must calculate chargeable weight and volume for shipments.
• Experience with data usage across functional areas for unified data solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Customs Broker, Importer and Customer for Import Shipments.
• Update Special Tracking and Accounting Reports for Customers.
• Ensure dispatch is aware of special instructions/cutoffs.
• Book air shipments with Pilot Gateway teams.
• Confirm Known Shipper via KSMS for air shipments.
• Book ocean shipments with co-loader and ocean carriers.
• Process Dangerous Goods shipments including checklist.
• Accurately complete entry of pickup/quote information into Navigator.
• Track and trace shipments and communicate with customers.
