Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily shipments, paperwork, and driver dispatch. You will bridge Maersk, customers, sales, and vendors to deliver quality service and enforce company policies.

The role includes training staff, performing reviews, and applying corrective actions as needed, while maintaining safety and efficiency across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' experience in lieu of degree preferred.
• Experience in operations management within transportation and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station manager with general tasks.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
• Review KPIs monthly and drive improvement actions.
• Oversee warehouse operations and supervise staff.
• Communicate freight status to customers and vendors.
