Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Austin seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue by selling transportation and logistics services to prospective clients.

You will collaborate with the sales team and operations to meet customer requirements and achieve targets. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in sales within logistics, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of freight forwarding and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in transportation and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and target potential customers, including cold-calling and prospecting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, including regular follow-up and meetings.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
• Manage the sales pipeline and update the CRM with accurate information.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide feedback to management.
