Job summary

Hogan Transportation, part of the Enterprise Mobility portfolio, seeks an Account Manager to oversee daily operations for assigned logistics accounts. You will manage load acceptance, client communications, and optimization to meet KPIs and drive growth.

Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, negotiating freight opportunities, and coordinating load planning via TMS, with emphasis on accuracy, collaboration, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience required; background in 3PL, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with TMS platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships, with a clear understanding of client business needs and industry trends.
• Partner with Sales to successfully onboard new clients and ensure seamless account setup and integration.
• Quote and negotiate freight opportunities with existing clients, including use of spot boards.
• Manage load planning, scheduling, and updates within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Schedule client appointments through TMS web portals and ensure accurate documentation.
• Track and trace shipments to proactively monitor performance and resolve issues.
• Conduct quarterly or annual business reviews tailored to client needs.
• Support Accounts Receivable by monitoring customer payment terms and assisting with collections when necessary.
• Maintain visibility into growth opportunities by monitoring client spend, volume, and share of wallet.
• Collaborate within a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
