Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across North Texas, Oklahoma, and North Louisiana. This field-based role focuses on Genomics and Proteomics consumables and involves direct academic engagement, strategic territory planning, and cross-functional collaboration to expand Bio-Rad's footprint.

You will manage opportunities from discovery to close, maintain CRM-based pipeline, and report trends to leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a life science discipline required; MS or PhD strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales or relevant research experience in the life sciences sector; academia/government accounts a plus.
• Fluency in molecular biology, gene expression, and protein analysis.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build customer relationships.
• CRM systems experience (Salesforce.com preferred) and strong analytical/organizational/territory-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Genomics and Proteomics solutions.
• Engage directly with academic customers through regular on-site visits to advance opportunities.
• Build and manage a healthy sales funnel with CRM updates and forecasting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing.
• Maintain strong communication and product knowledge with timely reporting to leadership.
