Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories seeks an Academic Account Executive to drive sales growth in the Ann Arbor area. The role involves reviewing inquiries, responding to quote requests, and updating Salesforce with notes and timelines.

You will engage with academic customers on-site to advance opportunities and ensure consumables align with workflows. You will build a robust sales funnel, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain technical fluency to provide timely reporting on trends and customer

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MS/PhD preferred.
• 5 years of sales experience with Genomics/Proteomics capital equipment & consumables.
• Experience selling to academic/government customers.
• Demonstrated scientific understanding and fluency in portfolio areas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Bio-Rad's Genomics and Proteomics solutions.
• Engage directly with academic customers through on-site visits to demonstrate, sell and support consumables and small equipment.
• Build and manage a healthy sales funnel with CRM updates and accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad's footprint.
• Maintain strong communication and technical fluency, reporting on activities, trends, and customer needs.
