Job summary

ZEISS Group in Seattle is seeking a technically skilled sales specialist to manage key accounts across Washington and Oregon. You will advance leads, present complex microscopy solutions, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customized imaging systems and services.

The role emphasizes on-site customer engagement, strong product application knowledge, and proactive expansion of the customer network while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences or Bioengineering.
• Experience applying widefield fluorescence and confocal microscopy to research applications and/or technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety requirements (BSL-1 to BSL-3).
• Excellent presentation skills in in-person and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers (email/phone/video/webchat) within 24 hours of receiving leads.
• Track, qualify, convert or disqualify leads in Salesforce CRM.
• Maximize face-to-face interactions up to 75% onsite within the territory.
• Generate quotes and proposals that are technically accurate and meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of solutions.
