Job summary

ZEISS in San Francisco seeks a Biotech/Pharma Key Account Manager to drive sales growth in biotech and pharmaceutical markets. This highly specialized, consultative role requires deep knowledge of ZEISS microscopy, data analysis, and imaging workflows in biopharma, with strong sales acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with scientists and procurement teams.

You will own the full sales cycle, manage pipeline with PASS and service teams, travel up to 60%, and contribute to market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or bioengineering required.
• Experience in technical sales within biotech or pharma preferred.
• Knowledge of high-end microscopy and imaging workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
• Own full sales cycle using consultative, value-based selling.
• Present and demonstrate Core Light Microscopy portfolios to customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
• Coordinate with PASS, service engineers, and logistics for installations.
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecast updates in CRM.
