Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a proactive Leasing Manager to drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention across the community. You will lead leasing staff, manage marketing campaigns, monitor leasing activity, and ensure an exceptional experience for prospects and residents.

The role blends leadership and hands-on leasing execution, requiring strong organizational skills, market awareness, and the ability to analyze trends to adjust pricing and outreach strategies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year multifamily leasing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Property Management software experience required.
• Solid knowledge of leasing, marketing, and customer service best practices.
• Experience using social media for leasing/outreach (Facebook, Instagram) preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Customer-service oriented with professional resident/vendor interaction.
• Weekend availability may be required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the leasing team by training and evaluating performance to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Develop marketing, advertising, and sales strategies to maximize visibility and occupancy.
• Oversee leasing operations including tours, qualifying applicants, lease prep, move-ins and renewals.
• Maintain inventory of ready apartments and ensure market readiness.
• Collaborate with maintenance to meet aesthetics and safety standards.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and traffic data to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Generate leasing reports and review traffic logs and conversion metrics.
• Ensure accurate entry of traffic, leases, and renewals into the system.
• Plan leasing events and resident engagement activities; assist with renewal programs.
• Address resident and prospect inquiries or complaints with professionalism.
