Job summary

Colonial Group's Manager, Learning & Development leads the translation of organizational priorities into sustainable learning experiences across e-learning, instructor-led, and blended formats. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPTD/APTD preferred but not required.
• IDI administrator credential preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Design learner-centered experiences across e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning formats using adult learning principles.
• Translate complex information into learning objectives, storyboards, facilitator guides, participant resources, job aids, and digital products.
• Build and maintain e-learning using Articulate 360 and other tools; apply AI-assisted design to improve efficiency while preserving accuracy and accessibility.
• Design learning paths that connect training, practice, reinforcement, and manager support over time.
• Administer LMS functions for L&D programs and compliance learning; create courses, curricula, and reports; manage content lifecycle.
• Design and administer surveys and other evaluation methods to assess learning quality and impact; use data to inform program improvement.
• Develop and document workflows, SOPs, and governance to support consistent practice and reduce single points of failure.
• Coordinate with HRIS, Information Systems, Quality, and other owners to resolve technical issues and support learning-system functionality.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate learning experiences and support IDI administration when qualified.
• Model adaptability and collaborative problem solving to meet changing priorities.
