Job summary

Genesco Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to turn business needs into practical learning experiences across corporate functions and brands.

You will design, facilitate, and manage end‑to‑end programs from discovery to evaluation, partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to drive onboarding, leadership development, and career growth. You will create engaging content, develop curricula, and evaluate impact, using storytelling and modern learning tools to balance learner

Qualifications

• Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
• Experience leading learning initiatives from needs through design, delivery, evaluation, and improvement.
• Experience facilitating engaging learning for varied audiences including leaders and cross‑functional groups.
• Anonymized samples of work are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design instructor‑led, virtual, blended, and self‑paced learning aligned to business priorities.
• Create polished content: facilitator guides, presentations, digital learning, videos, job aids, assessments.
• Translate complex topics into clear learning experiences using storytelling and visuals.
• Develop curricula and pathways for onboarding, leadership development, and career growth.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and refine based on feedback and results.
• Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify needs and propose practical solutions.
• Lead programs from discovery through evaluation with clear milestones and success measures.
