Job summary

Purdue University is seeking a Program Coordinator for Residential Academic Initiatives (RAI) within University Residences. The role provides administrative and programmatic support for Learning Communities and collaborates with the Senior Manager of Learning Communities and the Director of RAI on policy development and implementation.

You will administer programs to meet RAI objectives, develop new initiatives, assess programming, and implement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, management, or related field.
• Two years of professional work experience in event planning, program management, or related.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including faculty and professional staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and programs that involve various stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds and teamwork in daily work activity.
• Attention to detail and ability to gather and disseminate data to a varied audience.
• Skills in decision making and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and programmatic support for Learning Communities.
• Administer programs to meet RAI objectives.
• Develop and implement program policies, processes, and procedures.
• Implement and maintain processes and solutions to assess RAI programming.
• Collaborate to implement new program initiatives.
• Facilitate communications and foster relationships with internal and external constituents.
