Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Strategic Training Program Manager for the Financial Administration Department. You will lead strategy, development, and implementation of learning programs, partnering with Schools and units to enable organizational change and system implementations.

You will manage the end-to-end learning lifecycle, design digital and in-person training, and drive user adoption with emerging learning technologies. Hybrid remote work applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience.
• Experience leading enterprise learning or organizational change initiatives.
• Experience as a trainer or coordinating multiple training events in a complex setting.
• Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
• Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
• Experience supporting system implementations or large-scale technology deployments.
• Experience developing online learning content using modern instructional design methodologies.
• Experience using learning analytics to evaluate program effectiveness.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of FAD learning programs.
• Serve as FAD's lead for learning strategy, organizational readiness, and user adoption.
• Develop scalable, accessible learning resources across Harvard's financial community.
• Manage end-to-end learning lifecycle for instructor-led and digital learning.
• Design, deliver and evaluate training in-person and online.
• Collaborate with Schools and units, liaising with subject matter experts.
