Job summary

Harvard University Central Administration is seeking a Strategic Training Program Manager to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of FAD's learning programs, partnering across the University to support new business processes and organizational change.

You will manage the full learning lifecycle for instructor-led and digital learning, drive readiness and user adoption, and collaborate with schools, units, and subject matter experts to scale accessible resources for Harvard's financial

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise learning or organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating multiple training events in a complex setting (preferably higher education).
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
  • Experience with learning analytics to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting system implementations or large-scale technology deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise learning strategies for large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Lead training workstreams for complex cross-functional projects.
  • Partner with project leadership to develop organizational readiness and user adoption plans.
  • Design, create, schedule and deliver training (in-person and online).
  • Select appropriate training methods (simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs on instructional design.
  • Assess learning effectiveness and report on evaluation results for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage learning technologies to improve the learner experience.
  • Manage training projects by coordinating resources and timelines.
  • Act as a primary contact with schools and end-user communities for training efforts.
  • Collaborate with policy SMEs and communications staff.
