Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Provider Engagement and Performance Specialist III to steward a portfolio of provider relationships, ensuring timely issue resolution and measurable improvement across value-based programs.

You will translate priorities into engagement plans, track metrics, and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership. This role leads complex assignments and mentors others while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; in lieu of degree, equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• 4+ years in managed care or provider-facing roles with cross-functional coordination and data-driven outcomes.
• Knowledge of managed care contracts and provider contracting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead provider engagement cycles from planning to execution, documentation, follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with providers, coordinate meetings, document outcomes and follow-up items.
• Support value-based care initiatives by monitoring progress against benchmarks and preparing performance reports.
• Coordinate across teams to address performance gaps and ensure timely implementation.
