Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to provide senior leadership to project teams and drive achievement of project objectives. The role includes staff development, objective setting, and ensuring project controls and client relationships are maintained.

Responsibilities include profitability, contract management, risk tracking, and support for marketing and new business pursuits across large-scale facility construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of extensive project management experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement principles.

Responsibilities

• Establish profitability goals and strategies to achieve them; manage and control internal cost to ensure profitability.
• Manage and administrate Owner contracts, identify and manage risks daily.
• Maintain and improve relationships with existing clients to support repeat business.
• Lead marketing efforts and group sales planning strategies for development of new business.
• Oversee cost estimates, control costs and ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.
