Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Project Manager to lead large facility construction projects, coordinating schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations with the Superintendent. You will manage subcontractors, contract negotiations, procurement, and risk; prepare pay applications and cash flow, and ensure project closeout documentation is complete.

The role requires 5–8 years of on-site construction management, a relevant degree, and proficiency with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO) is required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan by producing summary status reports, issuing monthly projections, and change orders, change proposals/pricing for owner and subcontractors, creating/monitoring pay applications and cash flow to manage the budget.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters, etc.
• Develop industry relationships and expand networks to generate future sales opportunities.
• Maintain understanding of contract documents and ensure accurate contract reporting and billing.
• Oversee the work of assistant project managers and deliver training for project and field staff.
• Coordinate delivery of material and supplies to job sites.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings to monitor construction status and plan ahead.
