Job summary

Hoar Construction in Houston seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to provide senior-level leadership to project teams and ensure achievement of project objectives. You will train and develop staff, define strategies, and ensure controls and client relationships are maintained while participating in marketing for new business.

You will lead profitability, contract management, and change orders, coordinate cost reporting, and oversee schedules and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 7–10 years of extensive project management experience on large, complex facilities.
Budgeting, accounting and procurement knowledge required to manage projects.
Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent).
CCM certification preferred; membership in AGC/ABC, LEED AP, OSHA 10 Hour helpful.

Responsibilities

Establish profitability goals and strategies; manage internal costs for profitability.
Manage and administer Owner contracts; identify and manage risks daily.
Maintain and improve relationships with existing clients; support marketing and sales planning for new business.
Oversee change management, design changes, and review all change orders before submission.
Oversee projects through to closeout; track submittals, RFI's and critical documentation; provide weekly/monthly reporting.
Lead training for assistant project managers and field staff.
