Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead a complex construction project in Orlando. The role focuses on managing the schedule, budget, quality and safety while coordinating with the Superintendent to deliver the project on time and within scope.

You will develop plans, oversee subcontractors, manage vendor relations, and communicate with clients to set expectations and resolve issues throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Detailed knowledge of the construction process, budgeting and procurement.
• Computer skills including MS Office and scheduling software such as SureTrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent.
• LEED Accreditation preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan with reports, projections, and change orders for owner and subs.
• Prepare project administration and correspondence.
• Build industry relationships to generate future opportunities.
• Maintain contract files and ensure timely billing and reporting.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, and material procurement.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings to monitor progress.
