Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of Solution & AI Engineering to define the long-term technical vision and roadmap. You will lead cross-functional teams across solution and AI engineering, shaping scalable, secure architectures aligned with CVS Health's strategy.

You'll partner with executives to translate business goals into actionable technology programs, drive innovation, and ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet consumer expectations and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including solution architecture and AI/ML engineering.
• 8+ years in people leadership roles, managing managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures (cloud, microservices, distributed systems).
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems including modern generative AI and LLM-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technical vision and roadmap for solution & AI engineering.
• Lead a multidisciplinary organization of solution engineers, AI engineers, and engineering managers.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient across multiple lines of business.
• Direct design, development, and deployment of AI solutions and establish governance, privacy, and ethics practices.
