Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of Solution & AI Engineering to lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of the technology roadmap. You will drive innovation, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality products that exceed consumer expectations.

As a key strategic leader, you will partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable, secure architectures, promote responsible AI practices, and ensure delivery across multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technology with architecture/AI/ML engineering.
• 8+ years in leadership roles managing managers.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures (cloud, microservices).
• Familiar with modern generative AI and LLM architectures.
• Ability translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
• Strong executive presence with board interaction.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term technical vision and roadmap for solution and AI engineering.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of solution and AI engineers.
• Govern design reviews and ensure scalable, secure solutions.
• Direct AI solution design, deployment, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with product, business, and procurement; manage budgets and vendors.
• Present strategy and progress to executive leadership.
