You will embed generative AI, LLMs, and automation into the lifecycle, own delivery at velocity, and partner with Product, Data, and healthcare leaders to translate strategy into strong engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations.
• Deep, hands‑on foundation in distributed systems, cloud‑native architectures, and modern backend engineering at scale.
• Proven AI platform ownership. You have deployed production AI systems, model deployment pipelines, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Track record of engineering transformation, migrating monoliths to microservices and modernizing legacy platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy across a multi-team engineering organization (50-150+ engineers), setting architectural standards, defining engineering excellence benchmarks, and elevating work.
• Operational efficiency: embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows, and ML-powered automation into the engineering lifecycle as production-grade features.
• Own delivery at velocity; accountable for outcomes for teams, not just roadmaps.
• Partner with Product owners, Data Engineers, and Health care leaders to translate business strategy into engineering bets with precision.
• Be the technical voice in the room: call out architectural debt, push back on infeasible timelines, and advocate for right investments.
