Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Business Development Manager to coordinate and drive new business opportunities across its land-based defense technologies. You will work with customers and Parker groups to promote utilization of advanced and existing technologies to grow the defense market.

The role requires evaluating new business opportunities, developing market models, and conducting competitive research. Travel nationally and internationally will be necessary to engage customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or technical/engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• US military experience preferred but not required.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand complex defense technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct new business opportunities across Parker divisions for land-based defense technologies.
• Develop business models including projected sales, market penetration, risk analysis, and feasibility.
• Identify and launch innovative product opportunities and new defense technologies.
• Collaborate with Parker sales teams, groups, and divisions for market research and strategy.
• Document competitive research, market trends, and customer requirements for electronics and systems engineering.
