Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Analyst to work with the Vice President of Land Acquisition in Roseville, CA, reporting in-office five days a week. You will develop financial analyses, bring forth feasibility reports, and support Green Books and corporate approvals while ensuring accuracy in market data and proformas.

Candidates should bring 3–5 years of applicable real estate and finance experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a solid understanding of local land-use dynamics for competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or similar.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use.
• Local real estate knowledge is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of mapping applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform a lead role in financial analysis for quarterly and annual Division Business Plans.
• Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, sources and uses of funds and related projections.
• Assist in financial feasibility analyses for acquisitions.
• Prepare underwriting proformas and related financial documentation for assets acquired by Division.
• Conduct asset pricing analyses and formulate/analyze financial deal points for dispositions.
• Recommend price/profit participation structures and payment schedules.
• Maintain a computerized financial proforma model for community planning.
• Collaborate with management to explore alternative business scenarios and select an optimum financial plan.
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to financial strategies and procedures.
• Maintain market analysis database and analyze competitive pricing and features.
