Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Analyst in California to support land acquisitions and financial planning. You will work with senior leadership, prepare proformas, analyze markets, and help craft feasibility studies and investment memoranda for corporate approvals.

Role requires real estate knowledge, strong Excel skills, and 3–5 years of related experience. In-office presence in Roseville/Sacramento is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use.
• Local real estate knowledge extremely beneficial.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; mapping apps helpful.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a lead role in financial analysis for quarterly and annual plans.
• Prepare gross revenues, margins, funds uses and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in financial feasibility analyses for acquisitions.
• Prepare underwriting proformas and related documentation.
• Conduct pricing analyses and analyze deal points for dispositions.
• Recommend price and participation structures and payment schedules.
• Maintain a computerized financial proforma model for planning.
• Model alternative scenarios to drive optimum financial plans.
• Coordinate with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to strategies.
• Maintain market analysis database for project feasibility.
