Job summary

Capital One’s Learning & Development Strategic Operations team seeks a Senior Manager to lead our operating model, data prioritization with partner teams, and learning facilitation strategy across enterprise programs. You will guide a pod of facilitators and shape the operational roadmaps to maximize impact.

You will oversee ~5 full-time facilitators delivering Capital One Leads and S&G’s Universal Curriculum, build an adjunct talent pool, and serve as a hands-on facilitator when high-priority

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Information Technology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, program management, or a combination of project planning, executing, tracking, and reporting.
• At least 3 years of experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale facilitation strategy across the enterprise and manage a pod of ~5 full-time facilitators delivering key programs such as Capital One Leads and S&G's Universal Curriculum.
• Build an adjunct talent pool by designing, recruiting, and managing a flexible bench of qualified adjunct facilitators to expand capacity.
• Provide hands-on delivery support as a pinch hitter for high-impact content when needed.
• Evolve the operating model by owning, scaling, and governing L&D intake, prioritization, and capacity modeling frameworks, including strategy and platform selection for next-generation tools.
• Streamline cross-functional workflows by untangling handoffs across teams to ensure seamless delivery for the L&D organization.
• Proactively manage risk and bottlenecks by spotting workflow friction and implementing practical solutions to keep projects moving.
• Lead the data ecosystem as primary point of contact for People Strategy & Analytics and data resources, managing intake, scoping, and prioritization for all L&D data requests.
• Drive change and build trust by cultivating relationships across L&D leadership and guiding teams through operational changes with clear communication.
• Translate data into executive insights by owning operational and analytics reporting and MB R updates for leadership.
• Align horizontal teams to establish consistent standards, shared metrics, and practical guidelines across Consultation, Facilitation, and Design CoE.
• Introduce automation & AI by identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks and speed up delivery.
• Lead and support a direct team by mentoring contributors with clear priorities.
