Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Technology or other technical degree).
• 5+ years of experience and/or training in technical solutions selling; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior knowledge and use of CRM, SAP preferred.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Map networks of plants, design centers, and distributors to penetrate designated national and key accounts.
• Evaluate connectivity potential and determine share by competitors on an ongoing basis.
• Propose and execute medium-to-long term penetration plans to maximize share and new product opportunities.
• Develop relationships with high-level stakeholders within accounts and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Market Development Management and Product Management for efficient information flow.
• Design in HARTING products with customer engineering and supply chain teams for approvals.
• Review plans and standards to prepare cost-effective solutions.
• Provide technical training to clients as needed.
• Prepare monthly activity reports and forecasts for management.
• Represent HARTING at trade shows and maintain CRM records.
