Job summary

Kronospan in Anniston, AL is seeking a Key Account Manager, Panels to drive sales and deepen customer partnerships for MDF/HDF, Particleboard and TFL products. You will present solutions, manage quotes and contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to maximize service and profitability.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, following up on leads, forecasting, and maintaining timely reports. Travel as needed and a focus on growth in domestic markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by maintaining up-to-date awareness of Kronospan activities and products, industry trends, and customer needs
• Research customer/consumer needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
• Follow up on sales leads and develop sales leads
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect targeted markets
• Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
• Develop and maintain communications with all levels of staff, plant management and customers
• Provide day-to-day management of sales account activities within assigned customer base
• Act to close deals and finalize contracts
• Assist in the preparation of quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
• Maintain all quote documentation with accurate product pricing
• Research and develop lists of potential customers
• Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner
• Create and maintain sales reports
• Assist in order reception and other customer service duties as needed
• Assist in planning and scheduling processes as needed
