You will perform comprehensive lab tests on particleboard, operate specialized equipment, and maintain meticulous documentation to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with production and QA teams to implement corrective actions while upholding safety and SOP standards.

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Technician, Particleboard to join our quality control team in Anniston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis on particleboard products to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards. You will work efficiently to maintain accurate documentation, operate specialized laboratory equipment, and collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

**Required:**

• Proven experience conducting laboratory testing and quality control analysis
• Knowledge of particleboard manufacturing processes or wood product industry standards
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and analytical instruments
• Strong data analysis and record-keeping skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures consistently
• Ability to use power tools, measuring devices and other hand tools
• Competent technical communication and report-writing skills

**Preferred:**

• Experience with statistical analysis and quality control methodologies
• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Background in equipment calibration and validation
• Knowledge of industry-specific testing standards and certifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data analysis software
