Job summary

Navia in Houston is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to oversee end-to-end international freight for major clients, aligning solutions with client needs and KPIs.

You will coordinate with suppliers, maintain data in Cargowise and NaviaHub, and mentor the operations and customer service teams to ensure on-time, cost-efficient shipments.

The role emphasizes rate management, project onboarding, and strong collaboration with sales and Product. Prior global logistics experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of international transportation and logistics experience (ocean/air/3PL/4PL/PO management).
• Operational knowledge of Cargowise, including PAVE, Workflow, and Tasks.
• Comprehensive knowledge in PO management and eSolutions supply chain modes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proficiency in supply chain concepts (international supply chain, inventory, procurement).
• Well-organized self-starter with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Financial and accounting acumen; team player capable of motivating staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership for Key accounts and set goals.
• Lead and develop the operations and customer service teams.
• Coordinate with Partner Agents/Navia Offices to keep orders on schedule.
• Provide carrier routing guidance and booking support.
• Ensure deliveries for FCL/LCL/Airfreight for allocated accounts.
• Audit files per KPI and troubleshoot issues with partners and clients.
• Drive onboarding of new key accounts with leadership.
• Provide commercial support including pricing and rate management.
• Attend client calls or in-person visits as needed.
