The ideal candidate has substantial freight forwarding sales experience, strong negotiation and relationship-management skills, and is fluent in Japanese and English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related B2B sales.
• Business-level Japanese and English required.
• Proven track record managing major accounts and developing new business.
• Strong commercial negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with assigned key accounts and serve as the primary commercial contact.
• Develop deep understanding of customers' businesses and supply chain needs.
• Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects.
• Develop logistics solutions with internal teams (Forwarding, Warehousing, Customs).
• Prepare quotations and proposals and lead commercial negotiations.
• Conduct regular customer visits and provide ongoing account support.
• Monitor account performance, customer satisfaction, sales activity, and profitability.
• Coordinate with Yamato Group offices in Japan and other countries to support multinational customers.
