Job summary

RS Group is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager (Outside Sales Manager) to manage top client relationships in the Houston area. You will act as the lead contact for key accounts, resolve issues, and coordinate across internal teams to ensure client success.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-selling, and delivering measurable results. The position is field based with a full-time employment type, requiring strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to drive growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field.
• Four to five years’ experience in sales, management, or key account management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
• Basic computer skills, CRM software experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to follow through on contracts.

• Developing solid, trusting relationships between major key clients and RS Group.
• Resolving key client issues and complaints.
• Understanding key account needs and planning improvements.
• Managing communications between key clients and internal teams.
