Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Sales Rep - Key Account Manager to maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites within a defined portfolio of accounts and projects.

You will generate new business and cross-sell with other business units, meeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets while coordinating customer rental needs across districts. A base salary plus commissions supports earnings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven sales ability in transactional and relationship selling environments.
• Strong reading of industry publications and documents (Dodge leads, blueprints, PEC reports).

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in defined accounts.
• Generate new business and cross-sell with other business units.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and metrics.
• Develop opportunities through cold calls, visits, and consultative selling.
• Maintain revenue pipeline and personal productivity using company tools.
• Build long-term customer relationships through superior service and professionalism.
• Collaborate with National, Strategic and Government accounts as needed.
