Job summary

American Electric Power in Findlay, OH seeks a Key Account Manager Associate/Principal to drive retention, expansion, and satisfaction of strategic accounts. You will develop and implement programs, negotiate contracts, and build executive-level relationships across multiple AEP units.

You will coordinate with engineers, energy efficiency and economic development teams to meet company goals and expand services to key accounts, while ensuring exceptional customer service and long-term

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Engineering, Communications or other related field required.
2 years’ experience in customer account management, business or economic development preferred in the utility industry.
Strong communications and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains high-level relationships with key decision makers within assigned key strategic account organizations.
Responsible for retention, expansion, and overall satisfaction of the client base.
Develops and implements strategic programs and offerings, building long-term business relationships with executive level decision makers.
Interface with engineers and various internal groups to meet goals and objectives.
