Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr Mgr IT Vendor Management to lead governance and performance for strategic technology vendors. Located in the U.S., this role partners with Technology Services, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Cybersecurity to align vendor relationships with technology priorities and business objectives.

The role drives strategic vendor strategy, contract renewals, risk mitigation, and value realization across the vendor portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT vendor management, strategic sourcing, technology services, supplier management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading strategic technology vendor relationships within a large, global, or matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to establish vendor governance structures and manage performance via SLAs and KPIs.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing contract negotiations and cost optimization.
• Ability to synthesize vendor performance, risks, and financials into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategic vendor management across Technology Services with governance and reporting.
• Establish long-term vendor relationships aligned with business priorities and technology roadmaps.
• Oversee end-to-end governance including onboarding, reviews, renewals, and exits.
• Drive collaboration with IT, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity to align vendor strategy with priorities.
• Lead governance forums, quarterly business reviews, and executive reviews with KPI-based reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to support sourcing decisions and contract negotiations.
