Job summary

Toppan Merrill is seeking a strategic IT Sourcing & Procurement Category Manager to lead IT sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization. This role partners with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and business leaders to support regulatory disclosure and communications technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or IT procurement.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud services, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and IT services.
• Understanding of software licensing and cloud contracts.
• Experience IT vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, financial, contract negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to assess supplier risk and deliver measurable cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Analyze spend, market trends, supplier capabilities, and requirements.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Advise IT leadership on procurement strategy, contracts, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and business teams.
• Negotiate complex contracts, licensing, SOWs, and SLAs.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance for performance and compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with market intelligence and cost projections.
• Identify cost savings and value creation across IT spend.
• Develop category roadmaps and supplier performance metrics.
• Ensure governance throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Prepare executive reports and business cases; assist ROI and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
