Job summary

Toppan Merrill LLC is seeking a strategic IT Sourcing & Procurement Category Manager to lead IT sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships. You will develop and execute category strategies across software, cloud, hardware, cybersecurity, and IT services, partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to optimize costs and mitigate risk.

Lead competitive sourcing events, drive governance, and deliver measurable cost savings and value improvements while aligning with business priorities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement with a focus on Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies that align with business goals.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Serve as trusted advisor to IT leadership on procurement strategies and vendor management.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to align procurement with priorities and compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, licensing, and SLAs to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Monitor vendor performance and governance, monitor risk and service delivery.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with market intelligence.
