Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Category/Sourcing Manager focused on Information Technology (IT) sourcing. You will align technology investments with business outcomes and optimize lifecycle costs across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and services.

Collaboration with IT, Finance, Security, Legal and Contract Management is key to success. The role emphasizes AI-enabled offerings, licensing models and renewal strategies, with a strong focus on governance and supplier performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7+ years in Strategic Planning, Source-to-Pay, Procurement Governance, Spend Analytics, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels.

Aufgaben

• Identify and evaluate value-generating projects considering complexity, resources, risk, time to implement and financial impact.
• Manage prioritized portfolio of IT category projects in near and long term.
• Develop IT category roadmaps informed by demand, licensing, AI monetization and market benchmarks.
• Lead sourcing events and create documentation for RFx processes and awards.
