Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead enterprise IT sourcing, negotiate major software, hardware, and cloud contracts, and optimize supplier performance. The role requires partnering with IT and business leaders to drive cost savings and favorable terms across software, hardware, and services.

The successful candidate will develop multi-year category strategies, oversee RFIs/RFPs, and manage renewals while maintaining strong vendor relationships and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of related IT procurement and contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ processes and supplier qualification.
• Expert negotiator with executive presence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to influence across all organizational levels.
• Experience with contract law and contract management lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and contract negotiations.
• Develop sourcing strategies for software, hardware, cloud, data storage.
• Manage contract renewals and supplier relationships.
• Partner with IT leadership to align with business needs.
• Conduct TCO analyses and cost-benefit assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure SLAs compliance.
• Communicate savings and supplier management to leadership.
