Job summary

Providence is seeking an Executive Director, Procurement to lead Information Services sourcing and category management, shaping strategy across software, cloud, cybersecurity, and more.

The role focuses on transforming Source to Settle, partnering with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and senior leaders, and building a modern, data-driven procurement organization. Hybrid schedule in the greater Renton, WA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of financial experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• 6+ years leading IS sourcing, purchasing, or contract management.
• Experience with procure-to-pay processes.
• Six Sigma methodologies experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IS sourcing and category management to optimize resources and non-salary spend.
• Train staff and optimize use of IT systems and tools.
• Monitor compliance and manage privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory risks.
• Align supplier governance, performance, pricing, and contracts.
• Collaborate on roadmaps and master data with IT, Legal, Finance, Risk.
• Develop dashboards to track performance against goals and KPIs.
• Develop policies, templates, and procedures for sourcing excellence.
• Benchmark industry practices and drive world-class operating state.
• Foster partnerships to support Providence's digital strategy.
• Lead culture of creativity, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Survey internal and external partners on satisfaction.
