Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Category/Sourcing Manager focused on Information Technology (IT) category management and strategic sourcing across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and services. You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Information Security to align technology investments with business outcomes and optimize lifecycle costs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, supply management, business administration, engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Strategic Planning, Source-to-Pay, Procurement Process/Governance, Spend Analytics, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills are required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, processes and policies.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills to assess data and complex issues.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Aufgaben

• Identify and evaluate potential value generating IT category projects.
• Develop IT category roadmaps informed by technology demand and market benchmarks.
• Establish pricing methodology and KPIs for sourcing projects.
• Develop baseline spend and data for strategic sourcing projects.
• Evaluate licensing models including AI token, usage-based charges.
• Lead supplier selection and RFx processes.
• Negotiate IT vendor agreements including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, cloud contracts.
• Monitor value against baseline spend and vendor commitments.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, Privacy on data protection and compliance.
