Zusammenfassung

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is seeking a Category/Sourcing Manager focusing on IT category management and strategic sourcing for enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and IT services. You will partner across IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to optimize lifecycle costs and manage supplier risk.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled software, consumption-based models, and cloud cost optimization, with responsibilities spanning category roadmaps, sourcing events, and contract negotiations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, supply management, business administration, engineering or related field; or equivalent.
• 5-7+ years in strategic planning, sourcing, or supplier management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact across teams.
• Understanding procurement governance and policies.

Aufgaben

• Category Management: identify and evaluate value-generating IT projects, manage portfolio, understand market dynamics.
• Strategic Sourcing: establish pricing methods, KPIs, and baseline spend for sourcing projects.
• Sourcing Event Execution: develop documentation, negotiate with suppliers, lead RFx processes.
• Supplier Relationship Management: segment suppliers and monitor license utilization and value.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, Privacy on vendor requirements.
